HOW IS THE FUTURE?
BY PAOLO CESARETTI
FOR KALE ITALIA
Display system designed for the
participation of the Turkish multinational Kale at Cersaie
2014. The space is enclosed by a diaphragm in
semantic balance between analogue and digital.
The wall shows a pattern made by assembling blocks of
MDF that guarantee solidity but also rhythmic cracks.
This element is attractive from the outside and marks
the space inside by letting it float with regard to the
perimeter. A simple circular path guides visitors and
invites you to discover the exhibition that integrates two
different display methods. The “From ambient to hype”
type, by denying the traditional idea of displaying ceramic
replicas of real environments, is achieved through the use
of slender metal cages where surfaces displaying the
product are freely arranged in combination with colour
surfaces while the “Extended display” type is designed to
expose the larger surfaces of the product and consists of
panels arranged in a single unit format exhibited both
horizontally and vertically.
