Strategic initiative for the world-wide
promotion of the culture of hand-made ice cream, using
the formula of the traveling contest as a tool for
communication and social involvement. The
competition is also an opportunity for suggesting a
semantic redefinition of the meaning of the word “ice
cream” which, while representing the values of quality,
craftsmanship and Italian tradition, is “exported” from the
original form and not translated into “icecream”. In a series
of coordinated events, local and Italian ice-cream makers
become ambassadors for ice cream in an intercontinental
tour that will end in 2017 at the Sigep in Rimini.
