Conceived as a real art gallery, À La Folie is a temporary pastry shop dedicated to the idea of femininity as a model of inspiration for desserts and paintings. Products by the historic French confectionery Délifrance company are combined with the creative languages of the Serbian artist Mihailo Beli Karanovic, giving shape, colour and flavour to ten aspects of the feminine soul, including audacity, fragility, arrogance, sensuality, awareness and balance. The exhibition space has been conceived as a multisensory place, able to fully represent a new pastry model. Inside it is in fact possible to buy desserts or to lose oneself in the pictorial path suggested by the Serbian artist, thus giving life to a new interpretation of the perceptual and sensory codes that can be activated in contemporary shopping.
