The DK membrane valve for fluid interception and regulation is intended for use in water treatment and in the conveyance of chemical products. The main innovation of the design is the locking/unlocking handwheel system: all that is needed for fast actuation of the system is a small amount of pressure. This is a natural and ergonomic action which reduces the risk of undesired blocks while functioning and makes intervention faster and safer in emergency situations. The asymmetrical design of the knob has been developed to allow for effective grip especially in the rotational sense of closure where the load applied is usually opposed to the thrust of the fluid. The fins on the surface increase grip and emphasize the rotational movement of use.
