Designed to meet specific healthcare needs, the EVOcart™ robot is able to move trolleys used to transport food, laundry, medicines and medical devices up to a load of 500 kg in total autonomy and with an automated system thus relieving health staff of the most demanding tasks and optimizing the management of internal logistic flows. Capable of turning on its own axis, it is able to carry out identical manoeuvring capabilities in both travel directions thus reducing the number of necessary manoeuvres and hence a consequent reduction in usage times. With its laser scanner, the EVOcart™ can quickly and accurately detect any obstacles along its entire perimeter and route, stopping at a safe distance or by changing its route to work around them.

Modular moulding of the aluminum body shell with mounting points, made using lamination + vacuum autoclave moulding; application of metallic stickers through the antistone transparent wrapping technique for applying logos to the body shell; laser cutting and TIG welding for the chassis construction; CNC processes for the micromechanics.
