Display format for a concept store that aims
to explain and export Italian tastes in the context of the
espresso ritual. As a testing ground in a context limited
by design restrictions it was decided to set up the pilot
arrangement on the ground floor of the Mole
Antonelliana. All the furniture and lighting fixtures
recreate the predominant nuances and atmosphere from
the world of coffee in order to create a consistent,
sophisticated and well-organized environment that is
immediately recognizable. The space is characterized by an
impressive 18 metre long bar top divided into three areas:
the Caffè Vergnano 1882, a central area dedicated to the
serving of wine in barrels and a third area dedicated to food
and drink. The entire area is surrounded by oak shelving,
areas for socializing and a lounge area that create together
a multifunctional, but at the same time intimate and private
setting.
