Within the Mirage wall lamp the LED light source is refracted by four layers of patented technopolymer – Lentiflex® – thus transforming it into a decorative element which creates a kind of holographic “illusion”. A key element of the design is the application of the layers which through the overlapping of the different strata is designed to produce a Fresnel effect. The prismatic surface of the Mirage diffuser looks like glass, but is instead extremely light and virtually unbreakable. The 60 LEDs used in each lamp are arranged on a central crown which is amplified by a micro-mirror system and which develops over 1,500 lumens with a consumption of only 12W. The power supply is housed within the lamp itself thus allowing it to be installed without the need for any building modifications.
